Mission & Vision
Our mission at Livaudais is to raise academic achievement by providing opportunities for all students to engage in high quality learning.
Livaudais Middle School's vision is to prepare, encourage and motivate all students so that they are empowered to maximize their potential and become leaders in this ever-evolving world.
History
Livaudais Middle School was originally named Terrytown Middle School, but was soon renamed after one of Terrytown’s first homeowners in the community, Mr. Trudeau B. Livaudais. Livaudais opened in 1969 as a middle school comprised of grades 6, 7, and 8. It was converted to a junior high school, grades 7, 8, and 9, in the fall of 1978, and then converted back to a middle school in 2004.
